The Aquarium is divided in several areas:
Tropicl Island
The exhibits resemble coastal zones of any of the islands or keys of the Cuban Archipelago. They include a 186 000 gallons reservoir for the exhibition of 30 different specimens of marine tortoises including Caguama turtle, shell turtle and green tortoise.
Mangrove
Three mangrove species: “natural” mangrove, red mangrove Rhizophora mangrove, tight mangrove Avicennia germinans, and patabán or white mangrove Laguncularia racemosa are shown in this area . The exhibit areaincludes a 7000 gallons aquatorium where first roots of so an important coastal vegetation have been already introduced. Other shown species of typical fish of this tropical ecosystem are: grey snapper Lutjanus griseus, Schoolmaster snapper Lutjanus apodus, Horse-eye jack Caranx sp. etc.
Marine Landscapes
The exhibition samples enclosed in six 11 000 gallons fishbowls, allow to admire the main typical marine landscapes of the Cuban archipelago according to a scale model that represents them just as they appear originally at different sea depths starting from the coastline onwards. The landscapes also represent their natural environment including fish, corals and other marine invertebrates, all of them “alive
Commercial Species
An exhibition area of commercial fish species consisting in 5 fishbowls of 10,000 gallons allows a best understanding of the concept “sustainable development”. The exhibited commercial species are mainly snappers Family Lutjanidae, Horse-eye jack Family Haemulidae, groupers Family Serranidae, etc. This exhibition is complemented with some crustacean species.
Dolphin Lagune and the Sea Lion Area
Here you meet the Bottlenose dolphin and 4 species of Sea Lions

I don't have any guides of this aquarium. Does any body know if they made some guides? And where I can get any guides of Havana Aqurium?
In the years 1985 and 2010 they had theire anniversarrys. Have they made any books on this occassion?
